Professional caregivers with at Rocky Hill Adult Day Center & In-Home Care are employees who are chosen carefully to match the needs of each individual client. Those who join our staff are thoroughly screened, bonded, and insured. Training begins at orientation and is on-going so all carers are skilled in the art of companionship.
Education is important for quality companion care. We all age in different ways, with different needs, at different times. Be it a medical condition, disability, or the normal progression of aging, our caregivers are aware of best practices when serving families.
Companionship includes activities such as the following:
- Friendly conversation
- Current or historical events discussion
- Games, cards, or other mind stimulating activities
- Help with hobbies or crafts
- Watch movies/streaming services
- Read and discuss books, papers, and magazines
We make it easy to get started with a complimentary initial consultation. We can get to know each other, we’ll listen carefully to your needs and concerns, we can share the experience of other local families with whom we’ve worked, and we’ll make recommendations for service.
